CSC Resources
At the Clinical Skills & Simulation Center (CSC) in Glendale, AZ, resources are available for 91ÖÆƬ³§ faculty and staff to use for teaching and instruction. An Equipment Request Form can be completed to reserve any of the equipment listed below.
- Advanced Technology: Hands-on tools for ultrasound, electrocardiogram, laparoscopy, and endoscopy.
- Airway/Pulmonary: Infant, pediatric, and adult trainers for intubation and ventilation practice.
- Bone/Joint/Musculoskeletal: Simulators for joint injections and related procedures.
- Breast: Realistic models for breast exam technique and detection training.
- Cardiovascular: Venipuncture arms, IV insertion trainers, and blood pressure models.
- Gastroenterology: Abdominal examination, paracentesis and nasogastric trainers.
- Genitourinary: Male and female models for gynecologic and urologic procedures; includes newborn and premature infant models.
- Neurology: Adult lumbar puncture models.
- Pediatric: Trainers for intubation and ventilation practice, circumcision, etc.
- Simulators: Adult, maternal-fetal, pediatric, and neonatal manikins provide dynamic scenarios for critical care and routine procedures.
- Suture: Training boards to practice surgical suture techniques.
- Veterinary Simulators: Various models including dogs, horses, and cows to practice critical care, birthing, and more.
